My thoughts on the world today >>>

For this web page I decided to place some of my thoughts hence the topic called ‘Cerebral’ about today’s human race and provide a push to the idea of what may happen in our future.

Some of the topics are troubling and perhaps interesting at the same time you make your own mind up after all we are all individuals or are we.  These topics may or may not have my thoughts attached until I can get around to them.

It is difficult to express ones self that others can comprehend especially with topics like these.

So clear you mind and proceed to read and conjure up you own thoughts and perhaps these topics will raise more questions.

 WORLD

Environment

Well as we all know there is a problem. Yet there is a reluctance to change our habits to resolve it. Greed and money come to mind, possibly a similar thing that squashed the electric car. Government within a Government!

Building

The human race seems to be having a lot of fun building on coastal fronts. Now a question needs to be raised, what happens when you constantly move earth materials to the rims of land? We      have continental plates, we have gravity, mixed with the mass weight of cities/ population - would these together cause future planetary issues? Stress and strain on the plates could have an          interesting effect!

 YOUTH

 Mobiles

What are we breeding into our children? We have children/ teenagers going around sending SMS messages when the person they wish to interact with is only five meters away...

If we are not careful our social interaction skills will dissipate.

  Values

It is unfortunate that in this day and age we have a loss of value in society. This is not a generalization but an ever increasing number of current generations are unable to understand values except for the value of what they want.

It is almost as if the youth of today don't care about others. We have senseless vandalism and damage to other people’s property, high speed car chases, stabbings, even suicide which is all we seem to be viewing on the news these days along with what you see in the streets.

Before long our race could be fighting amongst ourselves and possibly become a form of savages with technology at their side. Not a future I would be happy with but if you are brought up in such an environment how can they measure any difference, look at Iraq.

Our children need to be taught values as an importance to ensure our society are kind and helpful to one another, and not fighting wars. Instead of giving $50 bucks to your child to get out of your hair, have a good time with them and teach them values.

Instead of saying nothing say excuse me to get past, a little manners would not go astray.

These are values we are losing in our society and as generations go, it will get worse.

Isn't that why we have history to learn from so we do not make the same mistakes again!

 SPACE

            Big Bang Theory

I am sure I am not the only one with a few more questions about this theory. Granted scientists have provided solid proof that all the Galaxies that we can observe originated from a single point in space.

But what caused this tremendous burst of energy or reaction? What was there before? Who or what put it there in the first place? Why did it happen at that particular point and time? The questions could go on and on. A reminder that the vacuum of space still existed, prior to the point of origin.

            Getting out there…

Wouldn’t the Project Managers, Administrators and Engineers at NASA be a little ticked off after spending millions of tax payers money on a white elephant called the  Shuttle when out of the blue come Spaceship 1 and Virgin Galactic enterprise cheaper and no million dollar tiles required.

I admire Sir Branson living the dream and making it reality - now.

The planet needs more people Like the Virgin Galactic owner who thinks of humanities future. Not only do we need to tidy up the mess we have created but we do  need to start searching space for other habitable planets before our once existence was just that - once existed.

  We are not alone

Like a lot of scientists, writers even the average person on the street would say no, and the rest of the population would envelope themselves in a safety net of a religious order due to it being difficult to understand.

UFO sittings and all are somewhat rubbish that people claim to see often fueling the idea that we are not alone in this Galaxy. Would you honestly think a UFO would   land and mutilate a cow, highly unlikely.

It maybe difficult to come to terms with but the human race is just starting to discover that some theories are possible. e.g. folding space, wormholes etc…

I, like others strongly believe that we are not alone. We must be naive to think we are the only ones that have some form of intelligence (being that this is a form of intellectual measurement against what we know of as being normal or acceptable) amongst literally billions of Galaxies with similar solar systems to our own.

            Were does it end

With the Big Bang Theory in mind we still have the vast void of space and to this date we do not  know where it ends, if at all it does end. It was there before the so called Big Bang but why and what caused this vastness in the first place. Interesting and mind boggling to say the least.

Do we hurry up and leave?

Anyone heard of ‘Russian roulette’? put it this way we are all on the one planet and one day something will happen on a catastrophic level and we will become extinct, who do we have to blame? Ourselves.

Our history, learning, politics, ambition to make a difference, everything we have built - gone, and some would say what a waste. ‘We do not see outside the square and live within it’.

As a society we concentrate making a living, go to work, drink up our weekly earnings, and buy a few clothes, gadget or shoes not knowing anything or very little outside this reality and from a government point of view it is a happy medium for population control.

We as a race are just starting to turn on the light and looking out away from our planet and discovering that the universe is not that forgiving. Yet we still breed and increase the population well beyond the sustainable resources the planet can provide but are not concerned.

We should strive to not have all our eggs in one basket and be proactive and get moving off our home and venture into space before it is too late. But at what cost ? ‘Monies not worth anything on Jupiter’…

 WORKING ENVIRONMENT

           Don’t trust anyone!

Well as the saying goes ‘keep your friends close and your enemies even closer’ is very true.

As we grow older and wiser we find this to be true especially with some of the next generation of beings coming through who seem to not or shy away from feelings and their 'don’t care' attitude who they bowl over to get position in the workplace.

This relates to the Youth topic where there is lack of respect and attention to the environment they reside in and in some respects we only have our current generation to blame.

The workplace is complex and unforgiving given that the rules and regulations around how an employees' should be treated is near impossible to administer any form of control. I speak of persons not being truthful not being self motivated enough to bring issues to the table so that they can be rectified and these employees'/ employers' seem to be the ones who plot and devise methods of takeover.

We only have ourselves to blame making life to complex for the average human to find trust and honesty in one another.
